(CNN)-If you haven't heard of BTS yet, it's time to succumb to the inevitable: The Korean boy band is taking over the world. 

만약 아직 BTS에 대해 들어본적이 없다면, 피할 수 없는 굴욕이 될수있다: 대한민국의 남자그룹밴드(BTS)는 세계를 점령하고있다.

Their new album, "Map of the Soul: Persona," out Friday, is expected to demolish international sales charts. They have a new single featuring American pop star Halsey. And they brought down the walls of studio 8H this weekend when they appeared on "Saturday Night Live."

금요일에 발매된 새앨범 "Map of the Soul:Persona는 세계적으로 앨범판매 챠트를 찾이할것이다. 미국의 팝스타 Halsey를 주인공으로 한 새로운 앨범이다. 그리고 이들은 이번 주말 "Saturday Night Live"에 출연하여 스튜디오를 흔들것이다.

This is One Direction big. This is Beatlemania big. And while K-pop music isn't exactly a new sensation outside of Korea, BTS and similar groups are cultivating devoted followings across the globe, elevating K-pop from a niche import to a full-blown international movement.

One Directio보다 더 크고, 비틀즈신화보다. K-pop이 국외에서 새로운 돌풍을 일으키는 것은 아니지만, BTS 또는 이들과 비슷한 그룹들은 새계적인 구룹으로 되기위해 준비되고 있으며, 본격적으로 국제무대로 진출하기위해 노력중이다.

Pre-orders for "Map of the Soul: Persona," have surpassed 3 million copies, Big Hit, their management company, told CNN.

매니지먼트사는 "Map of the Soul:Persona" 음반의 예약판매량은 300만부를 통파했다고 밣혔다

Their two most recent two albums -- "Love Yourself: Tear" and "Love Yourself: Answer" -- each sold around 2 million copies.

그리고 가장 최근의 앨범 2개, "Love Yourself: Tear" ,"Love Yourself: Answer"은 각각 200만부 이상에 가깝게 팔렸다.

When BTS was first fully formed in 2013, they took their name from the Korean expression Bangtan Sonyeondan, which roughly translates to "bulletproof boy scouts." In 2017, as their profile rose among English-speaking audiences, the group announced they were shifting the meaning of the acronym to "Beyond the Scene" in a nod to the themes of empowerment and individuality in their music.

처음 결성되었을 2013년, 이들 이름의 한국식표현은 "방탄소년단:bulletproof boy scouts"라고 명칭되었다. 2017년 해외에서 이들의 이름이 알려질 쯤, 자신들을 "Beyond the Scene"이라고 발표했고, 본인들의 음악의 권력과 개성의 주제라는 것에 고개를 끄덕이는 약자의 모습을 의미하는 것 이라고 했다

It depends where in the world you are, but most likely, you'll hear people refer to the group as BTS, the Bangtan Boys, or for Japanese audiences, Bodan Shonen Dan.

여러분이 세계 어디에 있느냐에 따라 다르겠지만, BTS, 방탄소년단이라 불리는 소리를 들을것이며 혹은 일본팬들은 "쇼넨 댄" 少年団 이라 불르는 소리를 들을것이다.

The seven members each have stage names

It's not uncommon for K-pop groups to have more members than a starting hockey lineup, and BTS has a grand total of seven:
